I live in XXXXX  and I object to the development proposed at the parking at Laguna Estate due to shadowing and loss of 36 parking spaces. This development will cause shadowing to Smith Dorrien House and all its residents.

This will be an eyesore and will block Laguna Estate as seen from the street scape. There will be a loss of 36 parking spaces to the residents of the estate and these should be reprovided within the development or somewhere convenient nearby as there is already not enough parking to cater for the estate.

The Traffic Commission has requested that 1 parking space lost at the Ex Blands building  development is to be replaced and I think this should also be the case for the loss of these estate parking which should also be replaced.

There will be Traffic diversions introduced which will affect the flow of traffic. Traffic from the proposed development will be diverted into Laguna Estate adding to the already busy flow through the estate. This road is a very busy road with a lot of traffic due to the proximity of the runway, with vehicles using the estate as short cut which will increase fumes to the residents and surrounding area.

This building is out of character for area as it will be overpowering Laguna Estate.

To whom it may concern,
As the owner of the Laguna Bar, I am totally opposed to the building of a block on the parking adjacent to the bar. It will remove all visibility of the bar from the road. Removing the parking, customers will not have access to the bar from the parking entrance. Breakfast customers mainly park the vehicles, motor bikes and work vans. Therefore, removing the parking will remove the customers killing my breakfast trade. All loading and unloading is done through this parking as on the other side there is no parking and it will block traffic. Apart from Saconne and Speed etc difficulties, it will also stop access to Hungry Monkey delivery collecting from Laguna Bar. Also, with this massive building the whole bar will be in shade most of the day. 
I spent £XXXXX to renovate the Laguna Bar in 2019 then we had Covid and closure and limited amount of customers allowed.. Now once the Laguna Bar is in profit, the government will remove the parking and bury the Laguna bar, hiding it and removing access to it. 
I know the building will create no sales, and therefore no profit. I will claim loss of revenue once the building affects the profit and loss of the Laguna Bar.
